Step-by-Step Tutorial on Making a Valentine's Day Heart Garland
Step 1: Cut Out the Hearts:
Start by folding your construction paper in half and cutting out heart shapes. You can draw them first or use a heart-shaped template to make them even. Make as many as you’d like to create the length of garland you want!
Step 2: Decorate the Hearts:

Step 3: Punch Holes:
Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top of each heart. If you want them to hang horizontally, punch two holes—one on each side. If you don't have a hole punch you can use a pair of scissors or a pencil to make a small hole (with adult supervision)
Step 4: Thread the Ribbon:
Take your ribbon, string, or twine and thread it through the holes in each heart. If you’re threading through two holes, weave the ribbon in and out to help the hearts stay in place.
Step 5: Hang Your Garland:
Once all the hearts are attached, find the perfect spot to display your garland! Hang it across a mantel, window, wall, or even on a Valentine’s Day dessert table.
